Usually majority of the tasks can be broken down into smaller tasks and assigned among several employees (team members) who can perform them. Sometimes certain tasks should be performed by several employees but cannot be divided into parts. In such case these employees become a sub-team within main team which is assigned to attain common goal. Such assignment method can be used to facilitate work performance tracking for manager of higher level when only result of sub-group activity is important and details (smaller tasks which drive sub-team to result) not required. Normally members of sub-team know their part of work and their responsibilities, but if it is necessary they can break down work into parts according to their professional view and arrange progress tracking within their sub-team.

- start your task planning application
- create a task
- set task timelines and priority
- use section "Resources" within task to select several executers and make an assignment
- use Permissions panel to allow sub-team members to view and edit task
- if required decide who can be sub-group leader
- create additional task group and delegate to sub-group leader permissions to create tasks within this sub-group (so leader will be able to arrange task management within sub-team)
