Productivity Dashboard is a summary view of all tasks and activities performed by individuals and measured against the resources (time, money, technology) spent and the results obtained. It allows employees to quickly view the stats for their work efficiency and performance.
Productivity dashboard shows how well a given job is done in terms of converting available inputs into useful outputs. It also determines the efficiency (desired output vs. resources consumed) of a worker and measures the worker’s performance (time vs. costs). The worker’s productivity can be calculated by dividing average output per reporting period by the total costs incurred or resources. Productivity dashboard allows combining individual productivity stats into a summary view of workforce productivity throughout an entire company.
Along with productivity, efficiency and performance, most productivity dashboards let determine and compute cost-effectiveness. A manager can use powerful work analytics tools to calculate the cost of some job and then compare this measure to the benefit expected. In case the benefit appears to be greater than the cost, the job is cost-effective.
