Agile Dashboard is a pragmatic and analytical panel for measuring and managing progress of agile-driven projects through using a range of performance indicators and measures. It uses visualization tools (e.g. sprint hour burn-down char, product release burn-up chart, etc.) to display the scope of work to be completed within an iteration or project. The dashboard allows administrating tasks, teams, work packages and iterations, following the principles of agile project management methodologies.
Agile dashboard represents graph and text information on project progress. It includes a range of KPIs that simplify the understanding of project progress at iteration level. Some examples of agile KPIs are as follows:
- Progress schedule performance, which indicates time elapsed over total time until a given due date
- Delivered business value, which reflects the actual progress of a project in terms of business goals achieved
- Team performance, which determines the actual estimated and previously achieved team velocity
- Project Status, which estimates the status of a project at iteration level, with a spectrum of iteration goals, objectives and risks.
