Event Dashboard is an enterprise-wide system that provides a graphical representation of statistical data about certain events organized or attended by a company. This system shows important, anticipated, scheduled, and probable future corporate activities and occurrences (such as meetings, training sessions, corporate celebrations etc.), so that employees can use it to monitor event schedules arranged by their employer.
Event dashboard is a centralized panel that shows what events the corporate life consists of. It aggregates cross-departmental calendars of activities to develop an enterprise-wide event schedule that reflects all the activities and events planned for implementation in the corporate environment for a defined period. Thus event dashboard serves as an electronic informer of company events.
Events are the major items included in a typical event dashboard. An event item shows the following information:
- Time and place of happening
- Purpose to be achieved
- Issues to be highlighted and discussed
- Activities to be undertaken
- Participants, including leaders and attendees
- Follow-up procedures.
