Investment Dashboard is a digital centralized panel for tracking, measuring and reviewing the performance of investments. This panel allows monitoring investment records regarding both fixed and variable incomes and their performance over time.
Traditionally, Return on Investment (ROI) is used as the key measure of an organization's investment performance. Investment dashboard allows calculating ROI and also using this performance measure in business forecasting and profit estimation.
The dashboard summarizes investment records that essentially include a number of assets currently owned, payments made, and new assets acquired. Users are able to automatically retrieve the latest value of each investment to calculate the following indicators:
- Total holdings, or the value of the investment
- Potential profits, or the amount of surplus remaining after the total investment costs are deducted from the total revenue earned
- Rate of return, which shows how the investment can be compared to other investments
- Daily gains or losses, or the increase or decrease in the amount of profit as a result of selling the instrument.
