Process Orchestration is a process/act which aims to consolidate (assemble) controls for different enterprise services and different components of business processes into a sole application that helps to complete these processes within the same virtual domain used to supervise a controllable chain of events, to coordinate different aspects of multiple business processes and to provide rich multilayer representation of information to respective users. In other words process orchestration is an IT-wise effort that is called to create an orchestration mechanism and a single workstation to configure and administrate the enterprise processes. Process orchestration is a feature which is often attributed to many BPM applications: specifically it may include process modeling features, flowcharting, etc. Process orchestration implies:
- Representing many isolated services and processes within a sole software interface;
- Using a consolidated virtual toolbox to control, leverage and manage multiple processes;
- Concentrating more analytical capabilities at hands of the enterprise managers;
- Channelizing information to respective users (operators, executives, analysts and managers);
