Process Performance is when:
- Process plan is put into motion (process executers effectuate the process plan);
- Process realizes its capability to transform inputs into process outputs;
- Process works to create certain value for the organization and to reach its goals;
- Process produces required results within certain constrains (time, cost, quality);
Process Performance is an activity to be measured, monitored and analyzed in three dimensions: in terms of its operational measures, quality measures and satisfaction measures. Key performance indicators (process KPIs) need to be specifically designed for each category, balanced to provide process managers with optimal set of process controls, and then continually controlled throughout many runs (turns) of process performance.
Process Performance includes:
- Execution of particular tasks and operations included into the process;
- Transition of results between the process steps according to workflow;
- Incremental production of the process outputs (each step adds to completion);
- Attainment of organizational goals complying with business plans and strategy;
