Project Post Implementation is a stage which takes place after the main product of the project is accomplished and delivered to the customers (accepted by the customer). Normally it is a stage when organizations undertake post implementation reviews to recognize the project success, review their achievements, examine lessons learned, and evaluate their results and mismanagements. Also this is a stage when post-implementation action plans are enacted – this is usually a part of contract with the customers. These post-implementation action plans may include the following:
- Polishing and adjusting the project products to be more compliant with the actual environment;
- Training and helping the customers to master the project products correctly and easily to prevent their misuses and customer dissatisfaction;
- Supporting the project products and results in terms of technology and methodology;
- Maintaining and servicing the project products to keep them workable and effective;
- Updating and improving the project products to keep them competitive;
