Project Summarization is a term that can be explained in two possible ways. You can see both of them below:
- Project Summarization is a method that you can use to summarize and analyze several projects of the same type, under rules of an overall framework or representation. This method stands for consolidation of the parameters which are peculiar and indicative for a set of typical projects, so you can compare their performance or current health – this can be done via tabular views or via diagrams – in both cases special project management software can be applied.
- Project Summarization is a process of writing a project summary – a document explaining some aspects of your project in a brief form. It delivers a “concentrated” vision of your project to a reader, so he can basically judge whether he should delve into more detail, or this project does not fit his current interests of seeking. Such a project summary usually contains the project’s identities, introduction of the project mission and goals, information on the team members and stakeholders, and other key assumptions.
