Schedule Appointment often means a record made to a schedule to declare mutual agreement reached between two or more people for a kind of meeting (such as interview, presentation, conference, webinar, etc.) planned with a certain purpose and for a specific time and place. Rarely, the term may refer to a non-elective office position that is assigned to an employed individual on a regular or one-time basis.

Regardless of what meaning of the term is used in a particular case, the principles of time management are supposed to be followed up to arrange a successful meeting or designate an employee job. The reason behind this statement is that any kind of appointment is based on scheduling, and time management lets reach effectiveness in scheduling appointments. The core principles of time management are listed below:

  • Planning ahead of time. All appointments placed on a schedule should be planned before their start time.
  • Doing one task at a time. Only one meeting/job designation should be arranged/scheduled for a certain time/employee.
  • Prioritizing activities. All schedule appointments are supposed to have priorities that determine execution order.
  • Setting time limits. An appointment should have clear time frames (start time and finish time).
  • Schedule breaks. For every meeting or job designation, breaks should be scheduled to ensure that people (meeting participants or assigned employees) have time to get rest.
