Schedule Parameters are used to specify the time for an event to run. In other words they are used to position a piece of data on the schedule, so a reader can easily navigate through this schedule and understand when certain task, event, or any other kind of appointment is planned to occur. Schedule parameters are widely utilized in IT systems to maintain calendaring of the projects, tasks and other items to be recorded on time-grid. These parameters are necessary to specify when an event occurs so they include everything suitable to point a specific date & time on a schedule, such as:
- Year;
- The Month of the Year;
- Day of the Month;
- Weekday;
- Hours;
- Minutes;
Depending on the schedule use, type of software, time pattern adopted, specifics of a workflow, and other essential aspects, these parameters may have their own limitations or specifications. The use of these parameters is simple – by giving a value to each of them, a person can address to a specific point on the schedule (to a specific date & time), and once it is reached, can learn if something is recorded already (scheduled) on that date.
