Schedule Report is a formatted and organized presentation of some information describing current status of events and activities listed in a schedule. The term is used in various fields of management to summarize results of some process or procedure.
For example, in project management a task schedule report is used to describe a formal document that summarizes the latest changes made to scheduled tasks of a project within a definite period of time. In business management an amortization schedule report is used to document a table of mortgages and installment loans showing the number of payments due, the amount due each payment, and the number of years remaining until the debt has been paid off.
Various schedule reports can be designed in various forms. Chart, table, plain text, spreadsheet, calendar are some examples of possible report forms. Regardless of forms there are several common components that are included in a typical schedule report. These components are:
- Date Created, Revision Date, Date Submitted.
- Person(s) created the report.
- Person(s) responsible for accuracy and relevancy of data presented in the report.
- Sources of information (the reference list) used to fill up the report content.
- Signature.
