A shift roster is a scheduled list of hourly assignments and works to members of a project team or office staff. A properly designed and scheduled shift roster allows to streamline the project workflow and optimize the office workload in a company. It counts worked time of an employee, vacations and holidays, overtime, task re-assignments, and work replacements. For a manager, the shift roster is the way to schedule working hours optimally and find lots of choices to fit staffing needs with available personnel. For an employee, the shift roster is the way to be aware of assigned jobs at specified time and date and to track possible work replacements.
VIP Task Manager is task management and shift roster software that allows to schedule working hours and create shift rosters. In Calendar of VIP Task Manager you can select several views (daily, weekly and monthly) to display tasks of the work schedule. To create a new shift or a working roster in VIP Task Manager shift roster software, you can just duplicate a template of the shift roster. Any shift as well as the whole shift roster can be sent by e-mail to engaged employees and also printed out.

- Run VIP Task Manager
- In Task Tree View you can create a new task group 'Shift Roster' and keep there all shit rosters
- In Calendar View you can filter tasks by the task group 'Shift Rosters' and add new or edit existing tasks to schedule shifts
- Use Duplicate function to copy shift roster templates and so quickly create new shift rosters
