When we plan our business or home activities, we need to set up timeframes for our tasks. Efficient task scheduling assumes that each tasks should have start and finish dates which show us from what start point we need to begin with doing a task and till what deadline we can complete the task. Sometimes we need to assign recurring tasks to employees and it may become boring to schedule repeatable tasks from time to time. To make your business more profitable and reliable, you learn to create business schedules with strictly defined task timeframes and durations.
If you want to outline task timeframes with start and finish dates, you can use VIP Task Manager. In this software you can set up start and finish dates and also calculate total task duration by using custom fields. Besides, you can get more benefits from setting additional time parameter 'task due date' which often is used in project scheduling. If you have a regular task which repeats from time to time, you don't need to create and configure this task each time when it arises. In VIP Task Manager there is Task Recurrence option which allows to set up recurrence pattern and predefine start and finish dates in advance.
Action plan:
- Launch VIP Task Manager
- To create a new task, press on button 'New Task'. In task window input Start and Finish Dates. You can also use Due Date field to set up a deadline.
- If a task is repeatable, you can set up Recurrent Pattern in Recurrence Option
- Use Calendar View to manage your business schedule
- To calculate task time duration, create a new custom field 'Duration' and input formula (the different between Finish Date and Start Date)
