Project management for small companies is a loose modification of this widely-used discipline which can be characterized by several essential traits. There is certain diversity in standards (depending on each specific country’s laws and industry standards) applied to qualifying companies as small, medium or large, but usually small business is a company that is privately owned and operated, with a small number of employees, relatively low volume of sales and turnover.
