Work assessment tools
Assessment of work is the largest component of company's work management. Work assessments include a wide range of activities for the management of tasks, jobs and activities throughout their life cycle, from planning phase to defining compensation and reward magnitudes for completed work. An effective assessment reduces cost and provides improved performance. Work management offers special tools which stand for a set of indicators, measures, standards and norms applied to common work and individual jobs with purpose to assess work and measure employee performance. |
Factors considered in job evaluation
There are three major factors that have an impact on evaluation at workplaces. They are listed below:- Life style. This factor of assessment for work considers that each employee has an individual life style which greatly impacts employee's behavior at work-place.
- Work environment. It is based on those conditions and terms in which employee works each day. Better work environment usually means higher employee performance. It also lets detect all aspects of work environment, including work-place, implements, salary size, compensations, etc.

- Work ability in different occupations. It is about how employee can cope with new tasks on a new position. Assessment for work ability determines such personal and professional skills as communicability, leadership, proneness to conflicts, job expertise, graduate education, and other.

- Custom fields. This tool allows to add customized columns to common task list to assess work. It can be applied to individual work of one employee as well as to group work. You can use the assessing work tool to create performance indicators, measure time spending and track idle time.
- Charts panel. This tool shows employee performance in graph view. There are five available diagrams, including Pie chart, Column chart, Line chart, Bar chart and Area chart. You can use these charts to assess work by such task columns as Estimated Time versus Actual Time, Actual Sales versus Planned Sales, etc. Also you can use 'Complete' column in Pie chart to see the share of each employee's tasks in common work.
- Notifications panel. It lets track ongoing work and find out how many tasks employee has completed. Notifications can be sent as pop-up messages and e-mail letters. In Notification panel you can use Filter bar to hide/display notifications filtered by 'Date create' column and 'Creator' column.
