Work breakdown structure program (WBS program) – Creating tree-like structures for projects

The generic concept of Work Breakdown Structure project planning is fundamental in project management. WBS is a deliverable-oriented technique of project management that helps identify the deliverables to be resulted from project completion. The technique allows building a WBS to define project scope, estimate project costs, organize project schedules, and create project charts. Usually project managers use the technique at the very beginning of projects when initialization of project goals and objectives is carried out. Project managers build WBS with Microsoft Project because this solution provides powerful functionality for project management. But when it comes to managing more simple projects that do not require complex options but just project tree building functionality, the MS Project solution becomes too complicated and complex so it is better to find a simpler yet powerful solution that allows creating a hierarchical decomposition of project tasks and jobs and using templates.
