Planning finance-related tasks
This is very responsible part of financial department management. Finance Manager is the person who cares about planning, scheduling and assigning daily tasks to Accountants, Finance Specialists and Cashier. For example, the budget preparation process requires calculation of all planned costs for May which are to be included in the budget expense item.  Finance Manager can assign the task 'Make calculation of expenditures' to Finance Specialist and set deadline for 30th of April. In VIP Task Manager the deadline can be set in 'Due Date' column. Finance Manager can use Priority column to prioritize the task and also set a pop-up reminder message to recall Finance Specialist about the task. If expenditure calculation is due to be done regularly, say each month or quarter, Finance Manager can use Task Recurrence option to make the task 'Make calculation of expenditures' recurrent and so Finance Specialist will get this automatically each month/quarter.

Monitoring finance-related tasks
During one day of the company, Finance department undertakes a lot of operations and financial calculations needed to maintain the company existence. This is about accounting services, payroll administration, cost allocation, budget monitoring and many others operations. Control and monitoring of day-to-day financial services requires an effective tool that provides quick and accurate information about all ongoing and terminated operations carried out by financial department staff.VIP Task Manager keeps the tasks and to-do lists in common database, so Finance Manager can get necessary information from this database in few seconds. The software updates the tasks in real time and provides accurate status of the tasks concerned with financial operations. For example, to check whether employees of the company have got their wages at the end of month, Finance Manager needs to track the task 'Pay out wages' assigned to Cashier. The task can have due date the last day of month. If this task is procrastinated for some reasons, Finance Manager will detect that as VIP Task Manager highlights all overdue tasks automatically in common task list.

Reporting finance-related tasks

At the end of each day Finance Manager needs to get reports on what has been done during the day. He gets reports from the financial staff members and analyzes performance of each member. For example, to find put whether all outstanding invoices have been paid, Finance Manager needs to get status report on the tasks 'Pay off invoice'. Accountants who are assigned to these tasks can export the tasks view into MS Excel file and send the file to Finance Manager as a report. Such a report in Excel format shows detailed information about task statuses and payment due dates
