Project management tracking methods are used when it is necessary to gather, collect, systematize, analyze and evaluate information indicating project’s “health” and status of performance.   • Job sheet – conceptually this is an instrument showing the list of tasks along with displaying their current statuses described in multiple parameters. Such a sheet should have configurable interface and adjustable properties, so project manager can get a complete project picture in terms of different dimensions – for example to control tasks assigned to certain persons.
  • Resource-oriented monitoring – of course, managers should keep abreast of resources (usually time and costs) to know how they are spent, and if all predefined plans are followed correctly. The set of tools should include possibilities to plan, control and calculate project budget, time parameters and other quantitative metrics.
  • Productivity and efficiency – the entire workgroup as well as every particular member should be properly controlled in terms of work productivity and efficiency. Electronic form of communicating facilitates collecting and systematization of the work performance data, so such software should help you in monitoring not only the current performance metrics, but also enable you to review previous data to define tendencies and issues.
