In plenty of various styles of supervision each of the style is based upon two major constituents: giving orientation and providing support. The first constituent "Giving orientation" assumes a one-way communication when the supervisor tells the employee what they must do and within what deadlines. The second constituent "Providing support" assumes a two-way communication when the supervisor communicates encourages and guides his subordinates, discusses any questions or difficulties, and supports the employees to fulfill their tasks efficaciously.
No matter what style of supervision you have in your organization, CentriQS allows to supervise your staff, basing on the mentioned constituents. In CentriQS you can set owners (supervisors) for tasks. When you create a task with instructions in the Notes tab, you can assign it to an employee. You can discuss changes in your task in the Comments tab. With CentriQS you can supervise and track task state just by receiving alerts to your email box. The system sends notifications to your inbox once the task has been changed.
Action plan:
- Login your CentriQS database
- Create/open a task in the Tasks view, go to Users tab and select user name to assign the task to required employees
- To set Owner for the task, select required user name in the Owner field
- When all task details are done, press ok to save changes
CentriQS Tracking Tasks Solution Task Time Tracking in CentriQS is very flexible. Users can track time they spend on tasks both manually by entering actual/remaining task duration or adding time logs and automatically by using task timer that adds time logs when you pause or stop it. Task property "Deviation" informs users whether they are "On Schedule", "Ahead of Schedule" or "Behind Schedule" by calculating the difference between "Estimate" and "Actual+Remain". |
