Documenting advertising agency tasks |
||
Advertising agency tasks usually require some documentation which explains, specifies and describes the task in more or additional details. Some of the documents can be added to the task in the form of notes. For example, if advertising agency receives the request from a client by email, the responsible manager can create a task from this request and copy the text of client's email to the notes section of the task.
The documents which contain formatted text, tables, charts, etc., as well as any other documents to be attached as original files, can be attached directly to the task as files and stored in VIP Task Manager. For instance, the client sends the PDF file with description of the services/products his company provides, the account manager can attach this PDF document to the task for the copywriter, who will simply double click on the PDF file attached to open it and use it as input data in his work.
If the documents or images are too big to be attached as files, users can attach them as links. Let's say, a graphic designer was assigned to the task "Create a product demo in Flash format". After the demo is ready, graphic designer can attach it to the task as a link by entering the path to the flash file stored in a shared folder, so that when account manager receives the notification about completed task could see the result in one click.
