Briefly about the workgroup approach
Most large projects are based on the workgroup approach. This approach entails creation of one or multiple working groups in which the members closely cooperate with each other inside a team but not with members in other working groups. The leaders of every working group manage the members of a particular group only. The project manager gets reports from the group leaders, analyzes obtained results per workgroup and makes global decisions on the project. The workgroups approach allows to focus each working people group on specific jobs and tasks within a large project, avoiding any clutter and making task tracking easier.

Reasons why to work in group
You may make your choice in favor of work groups rather than working individually for many reasons. Here are some main reasons why group works may give better practical and learning experience:

• In joint workgroup an employee can easier learn each workgroup member's knowledge and better understanding learning materials
• In working people group the employee can also better understand personal strengths. For example, while being in work groups, the employee may find that he is a great translator but his oral language skills do not allow him to become a good interpreter.
• Joint workgroup is good for motivation. Work in group forces the employee to be responsible for and responsive to others, so he will do more and better jobs on large work groups projects
• Work in group helps keep the group always focused on working because each employee gets harder to procrastinate tasks when being involved in a joint workgroup of people
• Working people group is a great basis for project collaboration. In any business collaborative work in group is the norm rather than exception.
