With its help each user can be automatically instantly informed about significant events happened within the system and be aware about project progress. By default task's Owner and Assignment (task executor) will receive various notifications, however each task has Watch list of supervisors that will receive notifications as well and sometimes supervisor can receive notification even not being a user of VIP Task Manager (in this case he/she can receive only e-mail notification).

Comments

As VIP Task Manager is collaborative software it provides users with possibility to discuss tasks in real time. Each task within VIP Task Manager has comments panel, which is like small forum dedicated to certain task. Users can use this panel in order to report about their issues or to communicate with colleagues. Comments panel allows customizing fonts and sorting comments, each message stores data when and by whom it was posted.

Each user can use individual color for his/her comments. Important comments marked out with red color will quickly attract user's attention. Users can receive notifications when new comment is added. Comments panel is very important feature within IT-company because different specialists often need to consult with each other. For example when single-purpose software specialist creates instructions about special software system installation, settings and service he/she often need consultations with system administrators about system errors and issues that can appear.

Reminders

Employees working in IT-company can be assigned with hundreds of tasks that they should execute during some period of time and often tasks with low priorities can be postponed for the last moment. When company has intensive workflow employee can easily leave some unimportant tasks undone and forget about them at all. To avoid such issues VIP Task Manager provides their users with possibility to set pop-up and e-mail reminders. Reminder can be set up to work at certain date or when certain time period is left before task Start, End or Due date.
