To manage projects successfully, the team leader needs to track employee performance and view the tasks which have been completed or still being outstanding for today. To get exhaustive information for employee performance, the team leader can use workflow reports. Workload report shows the number of tasks assigned to each employee. This report is a useful time-tracking tool that displays information on the current workload for specific tasks and to-do lists within a project. This enables the team leader to check which resource is overloaded with work and which one could take more tasks.
In VIP Task Manager you can track employee performance by building workload reports. The report shows all tasks assigned to a resource with detailed information such as task name, due date, assignment, priority, complete status, and other. The report view and content can be customized according to your needs. You can use Filter Panel to display only daily tasks of particular resource in the report. If you need to track hours spent on the tasks, you can use "Actual Time" column and "Date Completed" column in workflow reports.VIP Task Manager exports workload report to MS Excel file and shows the tasks in table view.
Action plan:
- Start VIP Task Manager
- Go to Task List view. Use Filter Bar to filter tasks by Date Range 'Today' and 'Resource' field.
- In Task List view you can display such columns as Name, Priority, Status, Actual Time, Date Completed, Date Started
- To build a workforce performance report, go to main menu and select items 'File' - 'Export to Excel'
