One of the most important tracking instruments that can help to manage task performance and control processes is process status control charts. These charts can report important information about current status of the processes. By using process status control charts, managers can consistently collect relevant data, analyze and then carefully examine the data to reveal issues and find appropriate solutions. Also managers can use data obtained from process status control charts to keep statistics. This statistics will help to organize repeatable and regular processes more efficient next time.
VIP Task Manager is task management software that helps manage processes and track process progress by using graph instruments. VIP Task Manager allows to break down a process into tasks and build customizable statuses for these tasks. The Charts Panel allows to control the process and track its progress by the field 'Complete'. For example, to control the purchasing process, managers can use Column chart that shows progress of all related tasks within the task group 'Purchasing'. Each task may have specific statuses (Paid, Delivered, Cancelled, Delayed, etc.) which characterize the progress of the purchasing process as a whole.
Action plan:
- Start VIP Task Manager
- Select task group that corresponds to some process. For example, it could be the purchasing process and so the task group 'Purchasing'.
- Go to Charts Panel and select one of available diagrams (Pie diagram, Bar diagram and other)
- In drop-down list on the tool bar on Charts Panel, select the value 'Complete'

CentriQS Tracking Tasks Solution Task Time Tracking in CentriQS is very flexible. Users can track time they spend on tasks both manually by entering actual/remaining task duration or adding time logs and automatically by using task timer that adds time logs when you pause or stop it. Task property "Deviation" informs users whether they are "On Schedule", "Ahead of Schedule" or "Behind Schedule" by calculating the difference between "Estimate" and "Actual+Remain". |
