Notification
Collaboration between employees of the software development company can be created through sending and receiving notifications on task statuses. Good team collaboration is vital for software projects as the information flow should be organized and structured to ensure the workflow is running smoothly. For example, once Copywriter has completed the “Write new version press release” task, Web Designer will be notified on this event and this will be a signal to perform the “Publish press release to the website” task. VIP Task Manager helps to strengthen team collaboration through sending notifications on any task event like assignment, reassignment, changes in priority or due date, etc.. When notifications for various events are enabled, the software users will be sent e-mails or pop-up messages when working with tasks in the software development workflow.

Comments panel
Comments are the best way for supervisors, managers and team members to provide and get feedback on tasks. If assigned employee needs more information about task he can ask the task initiator to add more details into Notes panel. Customer support manager can get a bug report by email from the customer, create a corresponding task to tester and if the tester doesn’t updates his request, support manager can ask when the test results are to be expected. In other words comments can be used as a kind of live chat for the task to communicate with manger or team members.

Reminders
Employees of the software development company can be assigned to a big number of tasks that they should complete within a certain period of time and often tasks with lower priorities can be put off for the last moment. Because of routine work and intensive workflow, employees can easily leave some tasks incomplete and even forget about them at all. For example, graphic designer may do all the work for the new release but simply forget to remake the small left side banner on the product website. To avoid such issues and prevent their appearance, the supervisor can set up task reminders as pop-up and e-mail reminders. Reminder can be set up to be arisen at exact date/time or before task Start, Finish or Due date. It may include text message and a list of resources.
